Enhancing communities through singingSee our training courses
Contented Music Club is a community organisation that specialises in arts and health projects. It facilitates high quality artistic work while specialising working in health care settings. Current projects include helping facilitate an opera for and with people with Parkinson’s to be premiered at the Royal Opera House in 2020 in partnership with CARVE CoLab https://carvecolab.home.blog
It also offers training and support to musicians and artists to lead singing groups and projects effectively in their own communities.
Our training courses help you to work in specialised community settings such as people living with Parkinson’s or mental health issues, or with the elderly.
The training offers continuing professional development for artists, new inspiration and insights, a time for sharing best practice, as well as networking opportunities, and training opportunities on live projects.Find out more
What our participants are saying about us
I came wondering if I can take on a group people with Parkinson's - I am leaving thinking that I really can. A fantastic course - thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful two days. Now very likely that I will set up my own group. It really enlightened me as to how singing really does help people with Parkinson's.
It has been a fantastic course, far better than I could have imagined. I will definitely be spreading the word far and wide.
